after the success of their first release charmin are back with another high quality wax. this offering showcases the talents of florist and close friend of the imprint tilman, all pressed up on heavyweight vinyl with a lovingly designed cover. the ep kicks off with “proof nothing” which is a statement of intent. deep, churning piano chords overlaid with delayed vocal samples all underpinned with a solid beat and deep bass. next up “raw” does exactly what it says on the tin. this is a stripped down thumper with crunchy claps and an infectious groove. “once again” has a looser, more percussive feel to it with machine gun snares rattling off overt the top of a killer chord line. bringing things to a close is “mood swings” which builds brooding atmospheres and eerie vocal snippets. all in all this ep carries on the good work of this exciting new label. charmin continues its journey to bring you uncompromising, underground house music of the highest order.

after their featuring on kyle halls boat party ep, the bologna based duo nas1 join the bosconi family with a lush six tracks vinyl strongly influenced by contemporary detroit house. a side starts with the chuggin and moody beat of -black coffee-, then continues with the stomping and sexy midtempo of -i don t mind- and ends with the more mysterious, electro boogie raw jam of -dallas vertical roll-. on the flip we find the slapped roadhouse blues of madturkey followed by the twisted gifted & blesseds re-interpretation of -i don t mind-. the ep ends with the melancholic and soulful textures of the shuffle groover -hoarse presence-. tasty!

after a successful debut release with untitled gear, croatian label continues their journey through fields and forests. still exploring the russian federation, only this time they hired udacha s honcho and main protagonist a5. record kicks off with fantasy. a dreamy kalimba piece which eventually evolves into a deep house track and could be described as a soundtrack from your latest dream while raw abstractionism doesnt disappoint its name. on the flip side we are introduced to the afro banger torri wowo which feels almost like driving through safari on a truck. acoustic cut calms things down and brings us to an end with a clear message.

always a good day when a new chicagodamn record arrives! postmodern blues will be a two-record series from the celebrated & illusive uk producer the first volume here features four new cuts fresh out the box! as ever, we are dealing with a combination of straight up, raw machine funk, built for strobe-lit, sweaty walled basements and warehouses sitting alongside more emotive pieces. familiar themes indeed, but pulled off with impeccable attention to space and sonics. all killer.

b-tracks aka john barera & soren jahan are in charge of the first release on berlin-based label regular expression. as the name of the ep suggests the two hardware-addicts indeed did work something out. as a result they deliver these four raw cuts on dj-friendly 180g vinyl.

here comes the broadwalk tales remix ep. after the very succesfull broadwalk tales ep and album by fluxion, we now release a remix ep. joey anderson did a remix of the track you dont know and rod modell aka deepchord did 2 versions of the track for you. its the first time joey anderson appears on echocord, and since we are a very big fan of his music this a big thing for us. the remix is a beautifull driving track full of energy, melodies, and power, perfect for the dancefloor, and a typical joey anderson treatment. rod modell aka deepchord did eps and remixes on echocord before, and we always likes what he do. 2 deep floating, almost underwater kind of heavy tracks, beautifull and raw, at the same time.

interesting little label cos_mos follows up an ep from clendon toblerone with a new one by italian duo lifes track. previously the pair have released together the bosconi label and always favour a raw, analogue house sound that is physical as well as emotive.

mallorcas dakpa has been on a roll since amam released his debut ep last fall. he has contributed to several compilations, including amams own hand out series, kina music s fade to k pt. 3 and wizz vinyl s sonar sampler 2014, plus eps for labels like district raw and serial number 849. but amam gets the honor of issuing his first own vinyl release, the distres ep. the opening title track is an exercise in jacking minimalism, vibrant tech house with just the essentials, but more than enough to get the floor moving. then, ademus gets into a slightly more colorful groove, with tropical percussive interplay and some whooping voice for a humanistic accent (is that brigitte bardot?). on the flip, virgo gives a modern update to the frenzy of acid house. the title alone brings virgo four to mind. on that note, this one is an effective tool for warping minds and evoking spastic dance moves. finally, the dependable gaetano vinci a.k.a. hooved reinterprets ademus with a heavy dose of melodic funk and symphonic washes, making the track into an entirely new creation.
